WHO GOD SAYS I AM AUDIO
Powerful Identity in Christ Faith Self-Talk Audio
You can belong to Christ and still struggle to see yourself the way God sees you.
You know the Scriptures.
You know Jesus has saved you.
But somewhere inside, you may still hear the old voices...
“You're not enough.”
“You'll always be this way.”
“Look at your past.”
“God couldn't really use someone like you.”
“You've made too many mistakes.”
And sometimes, without even realising it, those thoughts begin shaping how you see yourself.
But there is a greater question:
WHAT DOES GOD SAY ABOUT YOU?
The Bible says:
“If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
Your past does not get to name you.
Your mistakes do not get to name you.
Your fears do not get to name you.
Other people's opinions do not get to name you.
God does.
And it's time to become established in what He says.
INTRODUCING: IDENTITY IN CHRIST
A Guided Faith Self-Talk Audio to Help You Renew Your Mind With Who God Says You Are
This is not simply an audio you listen to once.
It's a Scripture-based declaration experience designed to help you repeatedly bring your thoughts back into agreement with your identity in Christ.
Press play.
Listen.
Declare.
Repeat.
Until God's truth becomes more familiar than the lies you've believed about yourself.
YOU ARE NOT WHO YOU USED TO BE
One of the greatest battles of the Christian life can happen after salvation.
Your spirit has received new life...
but your mind may still remember the old you.
Old labels.
Old failures.
Old shame.
Old rejection.
Old thought patterns.
And if those messages have been repeated for years, they can become deeply familiar.
That's why Romans 12:2 tells us:
“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”
You don't have to remain mentally trapped in an identity Christ has already redeemed you from.
Your mind can be renewed.
REPETITION MATTERS
The brain learns through repetition.
Thoughts that are repeatedly rehearsed can become increasingly familiar and easier to return to.
If you've spent years rehearsing:
“I'm not good enough...”
that thought may begin to feel natural.
If you've repeatedly told yourself:
“Nobody really loves me...”
that story can become familiar.
If you've constantly remembered your failures...
your past can begin to feel more real than your redemption.
But here's the good news:
Truth can be rehearsed too.
You can repeatedly remind yourself:
I am a new creation.
I am forgiven.
I am chosen.
I am loved.
I am accepted in Christ.
I am a child of God.
I belong to Jesus.
I am free.
You are not trying to create a new identity through your declarations.
You are training your mind to agree with the identity Christ has already given you.
THIS IS NOT EMPTY POSITIVE THINKING
There is an important difference.
You are not simply standing in front of a mirror saying nice things about yourself.
Your declarations have an anchor:
THE WORD OF GOD.
When you say:
“I am a new creation,”
you are agreeing with 2 Corinthians 5:17.
When you say:
“There is no condemnation over my life,”
you are agreeing with Romans 8:1.
When you say:
“Christ lives in me,”
you are agreeing with Galatians 2:20.
When you say:
“I am a child of God,”
you are agreeing with Scripture.
When you say:
“I am free,”
you are standing upon the finished work of Jesus Christ.
This isn't about convincing yourself that something is true.
It's about repeatedly reminding yourself of what God has already declared to be true.
PRESS PLAY. LISTEN. DECLARE. REPEAT.
You don't need another complicated routine.
Simply make God's truth part of your day.
Listen while you're:
-
getting ready in the morning
-
travelling
-
walking or exercising
-
working around the house
-
taking a quiet break
-
preparing for sleep
You don't have to concentrate intensely on every word.
Let Scripture surround your thinking.
And whenever you can...
speak the declarations with me.
INSIDE THIS IDENTITY IN CHRIST SESSION
You'll repeatedly declare powerful biblical truths over your life:
I am a new creation.
I am called.
I am chosen.
I am blessed.
I am forgiven.
I am accepted in the Beloved.
I am redeemed.
I am free.
I belong to Jesus.
Christ lives in me.
The Holy Spirit lives within me.
God is for me.
I am a child of God.
I am an heir of His promises.
I am loved by God.
I am who God says I am.
And you'll hear these truths repeatedly.
Because sometimes you don't need another revelation.
You need to become established in the revelation God has already given you.
SILENCE THE OLD VOICE
Your old identity may try to speak again.
Your past may say:
“Remember who you used to be.”
But you answer:
IT IS WRITTEN: I am a new creation.
[PAUSE]
Shame may say:
“God could never accept you after what you've done.”
You answer:
IT IS WRITTEN: There is now no condemnation for me in Christ Jesus.
[PAUSE]
Rejection may say:
“You don't belong.”
You answer:
I belong to Jesus Christ.
[PAUSE]
Fear may say:
“You're still the same person.”
You answer:
Old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
The lie speaks.
You answer with truth.
YOUR PAST DOES NOT GET THE FINAL WORD
There are things you may wish you could change.
Mistakes.
Failures.
Wrong decisions.
Painful seasons.
But the cross is greater than your past.
Jesus did not save a cleaned-up version of you.
He met you in your need for grace.
And according to Galatians 2:20:
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me...”
The old you is not your destination.
Christ is forming something new.
So stop introducing yourself to your future using the language of your past.
You are who God says you are.
THIS AUDIO IS FOR YOU IF...
You love God but struggle with your sense of identity.
You repeatedly battle shame, rejection, condemnation or feelings of inadequacy.
You know biblical truths about your identity intellectually, but want them to become more deeply established in your thinking.
You find yourself constantly defining yourself by past mistakes.
You want to become more conscious of who you are in Christ.
Or you simply want a daily Scripture practice that reminds you of what Jesus has already accomplished for you.
This Faith Self-Talk session was created for you.
ROOTS DOWNWARD. FRUIT UPWARD.
You may have spent years thinking about yourself in a particular way.
Give yourself permission to grow.
Roots grow before fruit appears.
Keep returning to God's Word.
Keep hearing truth.
Keep declaring truth.
Keep agreeing with truth.
And remember:
As I listen to God's Word,
the Word takes root downward
and bears fruit upward.
Let your identity become rooted in Christ.
Let truth become rooted in your thinking.
Let grace become rooted in your heart.
Let God's love become rooted in your consciousness.
And let the fruit appear in the way you think...
the way you speak...
the way you respond...
and the way you live.
